Our Objective.............
Following our 2018 Ordination Service last October, you requested we expand our traditional Sunday morning Ordination Ceremony to a two day celebration with guest speakers from our Ministry, so we can get to know and learn from each other in a more leisurely manner.
The Board Listened and are arranging for speakers on Saturday and our Ordination Ceremony on Sunday morning followed with a lunch. This year we have 18 new Ministers joining our growing family!
We encourage our Ministers to block off September 14/15 2019 and join us at our annual Conference to welcome our new Ministers, to celebrate the anniversary of your own Ordination, and to meet other Ministers in our ministry.
"We are blessed by the ability to serve our communities and come together in September to celebrate our Ministry as a group. Please sign up as soon as you can as we have restrictions this year. It is a new event and difficult to anticipate enrollment: We have space for 90 Ministers with their guests on Sunday.
We have created a special website dedicated to the Conference with all the information you'll need to register, plus Speakers and Volunteer signup.
Here are some of the highlights of the weekend.
Friday September 13th
The Board will be there. For those that will be arriving Friday night, there are many restaurants with in walking distance that we can all meet together to Network.
Saturday September 14th
We will have two rooms for the speakers
Our Board of Directors will be available for the first hour to answer FAQ pertaining to Marriages and Ceremony of Life
Each room will have 2 speakers before Lunch and 3 Speakers after lunch for a total of 11 speakers
There will be short time between speakers for refreshments
Networking between 4-5:30 pm
Dinner at 6:00 pm -8pm
Sunday September 15th
The Ordination Ceremony
10 am-11:30 am
Lunch 12 noon to 2 pm
The Weekend will include your lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Dinner Saturday night. A hot breakfast is included when you book a night with the Hotel.
